THE GYM EXPERIENCE
Welcome to Bayou Elite Athletics, where movement, confidence, and fun come together! We offer a wide variety of gymnastics, dance, and cheer classes designed for all ages and skill levels. Whether your child is just starting out or ready to take their skills to the next level, our experienced instructors provide a supportive and encouraging environment to help every student shine.
Beyond our regular classes, we also host exciting camps and clinics throughout the year, giving students extra opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with peers who share their passion. Our goal is to foster physical fitness, teamwork, and a lifelong love of movement through high-quality instruction and positive experiences.

Our passion is helping every student achieve their personal best while having fun every step of the way.
OUR GYM STORY
At Bayou Elite Athletics, our journey is rooted in a lifelong passion for gymnastics, dance, and cheer. As founders, we—Candice and Emma—have dedicated much of our lives to these sports and to the young athletes who love them just as much as we do. Candice spent 17 years dancing before sharing her knowledge as a dance coach for several years throughout the CENLA area. Emma was a competitive gymnast for five years and continued her journey by coaching gymnastics for another five years.
After residing in Avoyelles Parish for over a decade, we’ve grown to deeply love this community and the families in it. Bayou Elite Athletics was built from our shared dream of creating more than just a training space—we’ve worked hard to build a supportive, family-like environment where athletes feel encouraged, inspired, and valued. Watching young children develop into confident, skilled athletes is our greatest reward, and we’re honored to be a part of their journey every step of the way.
